Important Information & Terms of Sale
Statutory Standards & Scope of Liability All vehicles are supplied in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We warrant that the vehicle is of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose at the point of delivery. However, “satisfactory quality” is legally defined relative to the vehicle’s age, mileage, and purchase price. As a specialist in pre-owned vehicles, we advise that goods will exhibit age-parallel wear and tear. Serviceable items, cosmetic imperfections, and minor mechanical noise consistent with age are not deemed “faults” under this agreement.
Electronic Diagnostic Verification To ensure mechanical integrity, the business performs and retains a professional comprehensive diagnostic report (Udiag/Autel) for every vehicle immediately prior to sale to verify a fault-free status. The customer is urged to request a copy of this report at the point of sale. Any fault claimed post-sale will be cross-referenced against this report to determine if the issue was present at delivery or arose due to subsequent usage.
Exclusion of Consumables & Maintenance Items The following are classified as consumable/maintenance items and are the sole responsibility of the owner. Requests for repair or replacement of these items will be declined unless a manufacturing defect is proven:
• Consumables: Tyres, brake pads/discs, light bulbs, wiper blades, and battery health.
• Fluids: Coolant, screen wash, engine oil, and AdBlue levels.
• Environmental/External Damage: Any damage caused by water ingress, flooding, or rodent infestation.
• Negligence: Any faults arising from “self-engineering,” unauthorized modifications, or failure to maintain fluid levels will void the right to repair.
Short-Term Right to Reject (0–30 Days) Should a significant inherent fault be identified within the first 30 days, the customer may be entitled to a refund. To exercise this right, the customer must provide the business a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle on-site to verify the nature, origin, and severity of the fault against the point-of-sale diagnostic records.
Repair Procedure & Usage Deductions (30 Days – 6 Months) If a fault develops after 30 days, the business is entitled to one opportunity to repair or replace the vehicle.
• Usage Deduction: Pursuant to Section 24(10) of the CRA 2015, should a refund be issued following a failed repair attempt after the initial 30 days, the business will apply a fair deduction for the mileage and usage enjoyed by the customer (calculated at a fixed rate per mile).
Commercial Warranty & Third-Party Limitations Any third-party warranty provided is a supplementary commercial guarantee for mechanical breakdown and does not supersede statutory rights. All claims must follow the provider’s strict diagnostic procedures. The business will not reimburse or be liable for any costs, diagnostic fees, or labor charges incurred at third-party garages without prior written authorization.
Hybrid Components & Service History We certify only the maintenance performed within our own specialist workshop. The health and longevity of Hybrid Batteries are not guaranteed; such vehicles are sold based on the battery’s functional presence at the time of sale. We cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of historical service records provided by previous owners.
Workshop & Aftersales Protocol We operate an advanced in-house workshop. In the event of a suspected concern, the vehicle must be returned to our premises for assessment by our technicians. Unauthorized third-party “inspections” or “reports” will not be accepted as proof of a fault.
